The Wilfrid Laurier University Staff Association (WLUSA) and the Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty Association (WLUFA) are excited to announce our first annual Pride and Popsicles event in celebration of Pride Month this June.
Chill with us on Wednesday, June 19th, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at The Quad. Enjoy free popsicles, Pride-themed swag, and fun activities that celebrate the vibrant 2SLGBTQIA+ community across our membership and around the world.
With just days before the official start of summer, we’ll be cooling things down and turning up the love. This event is a recognition of the invaluable contributions of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to our shared workplaces and the labor movement. We also aim to acknowledge and stand in solidarity with the ongoing challenges faced by many in the community.
Join us in the spirit of inclusivity, celebration, and solidarity. WLUSA and WLUFA invite everyone to come cool off with a sweet treat, connect with others, and spread the love this Pride Month.
