SCOPE:

The Joint Staff Development Committee (JSDC) is an opportunity for WLUSA members and the Learning and Organizational Development department to come together tri-annually to discuss learning and development needs of WLUSA members.

MANDATE:

  • To provide feedback of learning needs to Learning and Organizational Development department;
  • Identify learning opportunity gaps,
  • Suggesting topics for learning opportunities based on the needs of Members;
  • Provide input on the development of the annual learning and development plan.

The JSDC is comprised of the Association’s Education Services Officer (ESO), the Manager, Learning and Organizational Development, two additional representatives of the Association and two additional representatives of the University.  Members will serve a three year term on the committee.  Meetings are held at least once per academic term (3 times per year).  Quorum will be four members, provided that two representative of each Party are present.
