Laurier Homecoming 2017

September breathes new life into Laurier campuses and the surrounding areas. The return of the students also brings the busiest time of year for Laurier staff and faculty. New and returning students alike rely on our community to support them through this stressful and critical time in their academic careers. The success of our students reflects our commitment to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.

To round out this peak time of year, Laurier has its annual Homecoming celebrations taking place September 29, 30, and October 1. The weekend is full of family-friendly events, reunions, celebrations, and the Golden Hawks vs. Mustangs Football Game. In honour of Laurier’s new president, there will be a complimentary Dr. MacLatchy Welcome BBQ held at the Library Quad on Waterloo’s campus at 11:30 a.m. All staff are encouraged to attend and engage in Homecoming festivities as a way to celebrate the start of the new school year, and to unwind from the stressful time that September brings.
